I’m super glad you got this far! It’s hard to look for help, and I want to acknowledge that. I respect you for doing so. And, I’m guessing what you really want to know is if I can help you and if we will work well together. You might also be a bit nosy and want to know who I am? (I am a lot nosy. 😉) Conveniently, it’s useful here. It helps make me a good coach, and I have learned to keep it in check. Will I be a good coach for you, is a question only you can answer. Shall we find out?
I have been helping people learn more about themselves, work through confusing situations and thoughts, gain techniques, skills, and information, and communicate better with their partners since 2017 and I love it!!!
I spent many years feeling shame and confusion because of my ‘proclivities.’ I was alone with no one to talk to, I thought there was something wrong with me. This was at the very beginning of the internet and most of the other people I found were not helpful. It doesn’t need to be like that. You are ok, I promise! And I’d be honored to help you feel that way too.
When I realized I could do this as a profession, I trained with Sex Coach U. Since 2017, I have been coaching couples and individuals in person, phone, video, and chat. I have had the opportunity to teach teens and adults at various schools and conventions. I love to learn as much as I love to teach. I completed the Urban Tantra professional program and continue to work with other sex geeks. I was one of the first sex coaches anywhere working via text message when I was a part of the start-up company Juicebox, a dedicated sexual educational and direct coaching app (unfortunately, no longer operating).
I am queer, polyamorous, and kinky. I can hold space for you. I have the personal and professional experience and knowledge, as well as the understanding you need to guide you through your concerns. And if I don’t, I can help you find someone who does.
Now for the fun nosy bits… I am honestly going through a bit of transition myself. I just turned 50 (yes, I am gen-x), and am moving out of full-time mama-ing and refiguring out me-ing. I am a giant A/V nerd with a huge record collection, beta tapes, and more (that is my typewriter on the blog page). I’m an artist and a crafter, I have a side-hustle selling curated bead collections and beads with one of my very best friends from college. I tend to take care of things like plants and children’s ex-pets. My fandoms include Doctor Who, the Muppets, and many many musicals. I love old stuff and genealogy and used to own a vintage shop in an old church where I sold both. I grew up being on and producing radio, starting at age 2, meaning we moved a lot. I lived in Vermont for 30 years, and now that my kids have mostly grown, I’m happy in Brooklyn.
